Beetroot, Lemon & Ginger Detox Smoothie

Prep Time: 5 mins Yield: 500 ml

Ingredients

  • 1 medium-sized beetroot, peeled and chopped (150 ml)

  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger

  • Juice of 1 lemon (30 ml)

  • 1 cup of water (240 ml)

  • 4-5 ice cubes


Instructions

  1. Add the chopped beetroot, grated ginger, lemon juice, and water to a blender.

  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.

  3. Add the ice cubes and blend again until the smoothie reaches your desired consistency.

  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy!


Notes:

  • You can add a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup to sweeten the smoothie if you prefer.
